New law allows golf cart on public roads (USA Today)

Under pressure from towns along the seashore, the Connecticut General Assembly has passed a new law allowing golf carts to be driven on public roads, the New Haven Register reports. Each town can decide whether to take part, but generally the new law allows carts to be driven only on roads with a maximum 25 mph speed limit.
