    Around 5 to 6 hours

  • Adams B:

about 4 to 41/2 hours depending on how many in the group and how many on the course.
Sunrise to sunset is the best time to be on the links!!!

Typically it will take between 4 1/2 to 5 hours !! Not sure why because they are Pros and don’t hit as many shots or lose as many balls as armatures !! Like Adams B said, It depends on how many in the group, 2 or 3 !!! If it starts at 9am it won’t finish until about 6pm,

Basicallly if their are no other players on the course it will take: –

    1 Player – 2.5 Hours
    2 Players – 3 Hours
    3 Players – 3.5 Hours
    4 Players – 4 Hours

If their are other people on the course but presuming they let you through: –

Add 15/20 minutes onto above times

If you are playing in a competition and have to wait your turn

Anything from 4 to 7 hours.

    Good Luck

The average time for a round of golf at a PGA tournament is far too long for the caliber of player involved. The normal time is 4 and 3/4 to 5 and 1/2 hours per round. The USGA is forever harping on reducing the amount of time to complete a tournament round and in our area seldom invoke penalties on the slow players. All the tour has to do is invoke a slow play penalty of 2 strokes on any pro golfer. You will see how quickly they will speed up the play of every tournament.
